Call for Abstracts for MAKRO27 is now open

Dear colleagues, friends, and past attendees,

We are pleased to announce that the Freiburg Macromolecular Colloquium 2027 will take place on March 4th and 5th, and it will be held at the AULA auditorium, which is part of the University of Freiburg and located in the heart of the historic Freiburg city center. We are delighted that we have been able to secure this facility to host the colloquium, as it brings the event back to its roots.

Please visit the meeting website (www.makrofreiburg.com) to download the abstract template and view the confirmed invited speakers, which will be updated periodically. We invite you to submit your abstract for consideration as a talk or as a poster using the abstract template. The abstract submission will remain open until September 15th to accommodate the summer break. We anticipate notifying the individuals of the decision on the abstract by early October. This should give folks plenty of time to plan their participation. Professors, group leaders, and independent investigators are requested to encourage their students to submit an abstract and consider attending the meeting. A key aspect of the Freiburg colloquium is its ability to bridge several generations of scientists, and we look forward to continuing this tradition and seek robust engagement and participation of the polymer and materials community from academia, industry, and beyond.

If you are a past sponsor, a repeat sponsor, or interested in becoming a sponsor, contact us about the available sponsorship packages. We have one to suit every budget 🙂

We look forward to welcoming you at MAKRO2027.

If you have any further questions or seek clarification, please don’t hesitate to email us (makrokolloquium@gmail.com), and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Prasad Shastri and Dr. Felix Müller (Vorsitzender/Chairman of the Verein)
